Coil Tubing Supervisor at WEAFRI Well Services Co. Limited

• Lead a hands-on team that keeps our equipment and services running safely at well sites across Nigeria and overseas outlets — from job preparation and mobilisation, through execution and demobilisation, to job documentation and final post-job performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and safety meetings, and rig up/down Coil Tubing service line equipment at well sites.
• Organise and transport heavy-duty trucks and equipment to and from well sites; assemble and prepare equipment for installation and service.
• Supervise the rig up of connection hoses and high-pressure iron equipment; maintain log books and inspection reports.
• Supervise hydrostatic tests during pre/post job procedures, including Preventative Maintenance (PMs).
• Operate Coil Tubing equipment, High Pressure Fluid Pump and CT support equipment — flow back package, acid pump, N2 pump and pressure control systems.
• Monitor wellbore pressure and well control parameters, and take remedial action as necessary.
• Account for job execution, document all phases of the field service process, write end-of-job reports and prepare field tickets.

Requirements

• Must be IWCF certified (Level 4).
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in coiled tubing operation and supervision within the oil & gas services sector.
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Engineering or Physical Sciences.
• Proficient in the use of CT simulation software (Cerberus, Orion, Medco).
• Knowledgeable in coiled tubing and downhole hydraulics, BHAs, high-pressure pumping and equipment maintenance.
• Able to coordinate service operators during rig up/down, and to handle CT emergencies and well control issues in a timely manner.
• Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills; knowledgeable in HSE, PTW and CT work procedures.
