Civil Foreman at SpaceFinish Africa

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily civil works including structural, masonry, and finishing activities.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Allocate tasks to workers and monitor their performance.
• Liaise with engineers and project managers to resolve site issues.
• Monitor tools, equipment, and materials for efficient usage.
• Enforce safety measures and ensure site cleanliness.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or technical certification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 5+ years’ experience as a civil foreman in construction or interior design projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and site supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Leadership and team coordination skills.

Success Metrics:

• Civil works delivered within set timelines and budgets.
• Less than 5% rework required due to errors or non-compliance.
• Strict adherence to construction drawings and specifications.
• High productivity and efficiency of assigned workers.
