Civil Engineering Associate at RS Hunter Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and drafting of civil engineering plans and specifications.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects on project designs.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and documentation for projects.
• Review and analyse project proposals and design plans.
• Coordinate with contractors and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct field inspections and surveys to assess project progress and quality.
• Utilize engineering software for modelling and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3years experience in civil engineering or related internships.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
• Must have knowledge of costing and experience in preparing material takeoff.
