Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops the organization’s long-term financial strategies.
• Oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Advises the CEO and board on financial risks and opportunities.
• Ensures accurate and timely financial statements.
• Oversees compliance with accounting standards.
• Ensures adherence to tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Performs internal audits to assess the organization's financial procedures, identify risks, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting principles, including tax laws and financial reporting standards.
• Preparing and filing tax returns, maintaining tax records, and providing tax planning advice to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax laws.
• Leads and supervises the finance and accounting teams.
• Fosters a culture of accountability and financial discipline.
• Works with other departments to achieve the overall objectives of the organisation.

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related courses from a reputable educational institution.
• A minimum of 10 years experience with at least 5 years in a Chief Financial Officer Role.
• Knowledgeable in the use of ERP like QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho, SAP etc.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with office gadgets and applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Membership of ICAN, ACCA etc is required.
• Applicants residing within the mainland axis and environs are preferred.
