JOB OBJECTIVE

• The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will provide strategic financial leadership, driving profitability, efficiency, and compliance across the organization. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and coordinate all accounting and finance operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Develop and align financial plans with the company’s strategic goals, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support operational and growth initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable financial laws, standards, and reporting requirements.
• Drive operational efficiency and cost optimization across departments.
• Advise executive leadership and the Board on financing, investment, and capital structure strategies.
• Monitor key financial metrics and prepare periodic performance reports for management and the Board.
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering professionalism and accountability.
• Stay informed of industry trends and financial best practices to enhance the company’s competitiveness.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree (MBA) is an added advantage.
• Recognized professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience, including 5 years in senior management roles.
• Proven experience reporting to or working closely with a Board of Directors.
• Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
• Proficiency in modern accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
