Executes current and long-term objectives, plans and policies, approved by the board of directors.
Advises, guides, directs, and oversees major plans and MRO facilities procedures, consistent with established international standards and board approval
Manages technical partnership with OEMs; including knowledge transfer and local competence development
Manages operational performance of MRO facilities against agreed objectives and KPIs
Establishes, facilitates, and maintains an effective system of communication between key stakeholders: anchor client, transporters, sponsors, and board
Represents the MRO facilities with major customers, shareholders, the financial community, and the public.
Performs any other duties as assigned on approval of the board.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.Eng.) from four-year college or university
15 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Eight of which must have been in management positions in a technical role
Experience with analysis and interpretation of documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Strong commercial understanding -impact and credibility within all levels of the business and ability to deliver
Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels
