Objective/ Purpose of Job level

• The Chief Operations Officer / Chief Commercial Officer reports directly to the Managing Director and has responsibility for Sales, marketing, and strategy for the organization.
• Oversees development and implementation of strategic objectives marketing and selling the products and services provided by the company.
• Also responsible for seeking new market opportunities for digital solutions, pricing, marketing budgets and profitable sales.

Working Relationships:

• Internal: All departments as required
• External: Financial Institutions, Government Ministries Departments & Agency, other Private organisations.

Job Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Accountable for sales and marketing strategy, teams/processes, achieving sales revenue and product management profit and loss targets, including translating Sales & marketing strategy into business targets:
• Direct and Indirect Field Sales, Account Management, and Business Relationship Management.
• Attracting and retaining customers and ensure development of a highly professional relationship.
• Manage development of overall standards and guidelines for Sales & Marketing, including pricing, Customer service, Brand building, promotion & Advertising.
• To identify, develop and oversee Business opportunities locally and in other African Countries.
• Is fully responsible for sales & marketing strategy implementation, budgets and non-financial targets.
• Market Research & Analysis
• To drive and manage the customer value proposition to secure growth and a profitable sales development
• Driving Customer Satisfaction through effective and efficient service delivery.

Job Specifications
Educational Qualification:

• A good University Degree and higher qualification in Business / Management (MBA).

Experience:

• 15 - 20 years experience.

Functional / Technical:

• Business development experience
• A broad and international experience and a proven track record within B2B Sales & Marketing in Africa.
• Customer focus with the ability to establish and maintain successful client relations.
• Good communication skills with the ability to communicate across the organization.
• Trustworthy, ambitious and able to work independently and in teams.
• Knowledge of Business relationship with governments across Africa.
• Team Leader with ability to motivate the team
• Excellent Leadership and Management skills, as well as a good understanding of the Financial Technology solutions industry and Card manufacturing business.
