About the Role

• We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring excellent food presentation while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of meals (local and continental dishes)
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time with excellent presentation
• Supervise kitchen staff and delegate responsibilities effectively
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen and food storage areas
• Monitor food inventory, manage stock levels, and place orders when necessary
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
• Create and update menus according to seasonal availability and customer preference
• Control food costs and minimize wastage

Requirements

• The ideal candidate must have B.Sc./HND Certificate in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field
• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a hotel, restaurant, or catering service
• Strong knowledge of local and continental cuisine
• Excellent cooking, food presentation, and menu planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy kitchen
• Good leadership and communication skills
• High sense of hygiene, creativity, and attention to detail.
