Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and cook dishes according to recipes
• Ensure well-cooked and tasty food
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food
• Regulate oven, cooker, and grill temperatures
• Keep production records
• Maintain proper food labeling
• Prepare ingredients for cooking
• Keep a clean and orderly kitchen environment
• Monitor stock and place orders
• Clean kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
• Providing daily reports to the Supervisor

Qualifications

• Basic education and understanding of food hygiene and safety.
• Culinary certification will be an added advantage
• At least 1 year of experience in a standard catering service where the recipe is implemented

Knowledge and Skills:

• Ability to read and write
• Understanding of good food practices with regard to quality and customer care
