Job Description

• Create and update menus that reflect local and international dishes
• Cook a wide range of dishes including appetizers, main courses and desserts
• Ensure the dishes meet quality and taste standards
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure safe hygiene
• Manage inventory and ordering supplies as necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized work space.

Requirements

• Culinary Degree or relevant certification is an added advantage.
• Proven experience as a chef in a restaurant or similar establishment
• Proficiency in various cooking techniques
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• Creativity and ability to develop new, innovative dishes
• Must be very neat and well organise
• Excellent team work and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Time management skills.
