Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Lagos.
• The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Key responsibilities include monitoring budgets, processing transactions, conducting audits, preparing financial reports, and providing insights to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years Experience in Accounting principles, Budget Management, and Financial Reporting
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel and accounting software applications, as well as Data Analysis skills
• Knowledge of Audit Processes, ensuring compliance, and Regulatory Standards
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Excellent numerical aptitude, communication, and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certifications such as ICAN or ACCA is a must
• Experience in a retail or consumer goods sector is a plus
