Chartered Accountant at Bave Design Studio

Job Summary:

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Chartered Accountant to oversee all accounting activities of a fast-growing skincare retail brand. This role includes financial reporting, budgeting, statutory compliance, and inventory collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting functions using Zoho Books (or similar software).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Track expenses, invoices, payroll, and reconciliation.
• File taxes and ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws (VAT, PAYE, etc.).
• Work with the inventory team to ensure stock accuracy and costing.
• Develop financial forecasts and advise management on financial strategy.
• Collaborate with auditors, regulatory authorities, and vendors when needed.

Requirements:

• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN/ACCA certified).
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and accounting standards.
• Proficient in Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
• Must be trustworthy, organized, and proactive.
