• Collaborate closely with the executive team to define and refine the company's long-term strategic vision, goals, and objectives.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify industry trends, changes, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for differentiation and growth.
• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive business strategies that encompass market penetration, diversification, innovation, and sustainable practices.
• Communicate the strategic plan with all those involved in executing the business initiatives and sustaining implementation efforts.
• Create and maintain a strategic planning framework that fosters alignment and accountability across all departments and functions.
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of strategic initiatives, ensuring suitable metrics are in place to measure performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators.
• Provide regular reports to the Board of Directors and executive leadership, communicating progress, risks, and recommendations for strategic adjustments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in the annual budgets and resource allocation planning process to support strategic objectives and drive optimal financial outcomes.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration by partnering with key stakeholders from various departments to ensure successful execution of strategies.
• Identify potential strategic partnerships, alliances, and investment opportunities that align with the company's growth trajectory.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and market developments in the chemicals and allied products industry, incorporating relevant insights into strategic planning.
• Identify and evaluate new product opportunities, technologies, and business models to enhance our product portfolio and create a competitive advantage.
• Lead the innovation process, from ideation to product development, by fostering a culture of creativity, learning, continuous improvement and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
• Work closely with Research & Development, technical teams to conceptualize, develop, and launch innovative products that meet customer demands and align with industry standards.
• Integrate sustainable practices into product development and business strategies, ensuring environmental responsibility and positive impact on local communities.
• Monitor product performance, gather feedback on products to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and execute business development plans that target new customers and industries.
• Champion initiatives that empower indigenous communities, promoting economic growth and preserve the Company’s cultural heritage.
