    Business Manager

    Job Description

    • Our client is seeking an experienced Business Manager to join our client's team and play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our mining operations.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business management and administration, with a proven track record of achieving business goals.
    • Experience in the mining sector is preferred but not mandatory.

    Responsibilities

    • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including revenue growth, cost management, and market expansion.
    • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Financial Management: Manage budgets, financial reporting, and financial forecasting to optimize resource allocation and profitability.
    • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand the company's footprint.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
    • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government authorities, customers, suppliers, and community representatives.
    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate business risks, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
    • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and stakeholders on business performance and key metrics.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Business Management / Administration or a related field.
    • Proven 5-10 years of experience in business management, with a track record of achieving business objectives.
    • Experience in the mining sector is an added advantage.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Financial acumen and budget management experience.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
    • Knowledge of mining industry regulations and best practices is a plus.
