We seek a Business Development Specialist in stockbroking to drive growth, meet revenue targets, and identify new business opportunities. Key responsibilities include market research, financial analysis, investor presentations, and building a strong corporate profile.
Ideal candidates have a successful sales background in financial services, strong analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the charge on market research plans to identify new opportunities.
Ensuring that the company meets revenue targets.
Working with executives to implement marketing strategies and new opportunities
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of companies, including financial modeling, competitive positioning, management quality and market potential.
Developing and pitching ideas for potential investors.
Build a valued personal and corporate profile in the community.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the department’s marketing and business development activities for the Managing Director.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the stockbroking industry.
Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently, showcasing a results-driven approach.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, supporting strategic growth and overcoming challenges.
Experience in managing budgets and reviewing financial statements, with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
Strong networking skills, capable of building and maintaining valuable industry connections.
Proficiency in English & Hausa; additional language (s) is a plus.
