Business Development Managers & Executives at Applied Engineering Technology Initiative

We are a long established Engineering & Power training company desirous of diversifying into the provision of bespoke training & capacity building for the upstream and downstream, oil & gas industry, through a recently established partnership with a leading university based oil/gas training institution. Challenging and rewarding employment opportunities are now available for self-managed and very experienced individuals in the following positions:

• Head, Oil & Gas Academy: The appointee for this position, will be an individual with very strong management, leadership & business development skills with a very good knowledge and high level contacts, with the learning managers in the oil & gas industry. He/she will be graduate of Petroleum Engineering, Geology or similar qualifications, with upwards of ten years’ experience in the technical training function in an oil/gas company or oil/gas training institution. The appointee will be responsible for Business Development, budgets, revenue, and the co-ordination of activities of the Academy for profit.
• Managers Oil/Gas Academy: The successful candidates will have similar qualification as the above position, with upwards of eight years’ experience in the training function of an Oil/Gas company or an Oil/Gas training Institution. He/she will have similar responsibilities and the required competencies for business developments and power project managing oil/gas training.
• Business Development Managers: The appointees will have responsibilities for leading from the front in developing the market for upstream & downstream training opportunities. Successful candidates will provide demonstrable evidence of high level contacts in the upstream & downstream sectors of the industry to facilitate the acquisition of training mandates. Qualifications will include degrees in Geology, Petroleum Engineering, Ideally marketing and sales experience. Post-graduate qualifications and not less than eight years business development experience are essential requirements.
• Business Development Executives: Suitable candidate will have the same qualification as for the above position, with a demonstrable evidence of successful business development experience
