As a Business Development Manager at Brydge, you will be the driving force behind our customer acquisition and revenue growth. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and presenting our products and services in a compelling manner. Your goal will be to generate leads, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
Responsibilities
Research and identify potential clients through targeted lead generation.
Cold call, email and visit prospects to introduce our services and generate interest (minimum of 100 calls/day; emails up to 500/day).
Qualify leads and schedule appointments.
Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales.
Close deals within the first 3 months.
Monthly target of $1,550M in gross transaction volume.
Remain in regular contact with clients to understand and meet their needs.
Present products to prospective clients in person or online.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and messaging.
Track and report on sales progress and key performance metrics.
Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and generate leads.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in B2B field sales, business development or key account management particularly in the payments or financial services industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
