Are you ready to take on a high-impact role within Food & Beverage industry in West Africa & Central Africa?Tetra Pak West Africa is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to identify and secure new, sustainable business opportunities within the food and beverage industry across West and Central Africa.This role is key to expanding Tetra Pak’s footprint across different markets in the region by identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new customers and building long-term growth strategic partnerships.This is your chance to contribute to Tetra Pak’s mission of “making food safe & available everywhere”.The position will be based in Lagos, Nigeria.
What You Will Do
Strategic Planning to develop and expand Tetra Pak’s footprint across our 3 business units – Packaging Solutions, Processing Solutions & Equipment and Technical Services.
Market Analysis to understand the competitive landscape and identify untapped sales opportunities.
Generating new leads, closing deals and achieving sales targets.
Building and maintaining relationships with relevant key stakeholders or decision makers and partners.
Develop expertise across the Food & Beverage value chain to guide prospects to make the right business decision.
Execute Growth initiatives in key markets and target categories to support the West African Market Growth ambition.
Identify and track new businesses and project opportunities
Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Portfolio Management, Supply Chain, Legal) to secure compliance to commercial practices
Excellent planning, reporting and presentation skills to Leadership team.
Coordinate strategic business meetings & discussions from first meeting to signed contract.
Maintain CRM & Salesforce tool discipline ensuring good data hygiene for effective business planning.
We believe you have
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or Engineering
Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in Food & Beverage industry is an advantage
Scenario planning expertise to identify potential routes to build a common agenda with prospects.
Capacity to learn and ask the right questions with a view to understanding customer’s needs and opportunity potential.
Creativity to explore new opportunities with prospects while avoiding pitfalls.
