This is a full-time role in Signal Alliance Consulting (a subsidiary of SATH). The role focuses on Banking & Financial Services Industries (BFSIs). The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise and mid-market clients, and drive revenue growth.
The role involves developing and executing account plans, preparing proposals and presentations, and leading end-to-end sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation and closing.
The individual will collaborate closely with technical, product, and marketing teams to shape solutions that meet client needs, gather market and competitive intelligence, and provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports. The position also includes representing the company at industry events, supporting customer success and renewals, and continuously seeking opportunities for cross-selling and upselling across SATH subsidiaries.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the technology, consulting, or related services sector - BFSI.
Strong skills in prospecting, lead qualification, deal negotiation, and closing, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Ability to develop and execute sales pipeline, and produce accurate forecasts and reports.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
Solid understanding of enterprise technology solutions (e.g., cloud, business applications, cybersecurity, software services) or willingness to learn quickly.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including market research, opportunity assessment, and competitive analysis.
Comfort working cross-functionally with technical, product, finance, and marketing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are an advantage.
Knowledge of the Nigerian and broader African business landscape, with experience managing clients in Lagos and/or Abuja preferred.
High level of integrity, self-motivation, resilience, and a results-oriented mindset.
