    Business Development Manager

    Summary

    • HRLeverage, a Pan-African workforce management company, We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Officer to join our team.
    • This role is ideal for candidates with a strong track record in service-based sales, particularly in sectors like banking, insurance, or HMOs.
    • You will be responsible for driving revenue by identifying business opportunities, developing client relationships, and delivering tailored service solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target sectors.
    • Develop and implement strategies to promote service offerings to new and existing clients.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
    • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals.
    • Prepare proposals, quotations, and service-level agreements.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry insights.
    • Maintain accurate records of business development activities using CRM tools.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and service delivery.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated experience in consultative sales and client solutioning.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in business development or service sales in insurance, banking, or HMO sectors.
    • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
    • Proficiency in CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
