    Business Development Manager

    Job Overview

    • The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering relationships with clients, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.
    • The BDM will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to execute strategies aimed at expanding the company’s client base and increasing revenue.

    Key Responsibilities
    New Business Acquisition:

    • Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities in existing and new markets.
    • Generate leads and close new business deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
    • Develop and implement strategies to win new business and expand the customer base.
    • Negotiate contracts and agreements with potential clients and partners.

    Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing partners.
    • Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions and services to clients.

    Market Analysis & Strategy:

    • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for expansion.
    • Provide input into the development of new products, services, and business models.
    • Stay up to date on industry developments, competitors, and customer needs.

    Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams:

    • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align on business goals and strategies.
    • Assist with marketing efforts, including identifying target audiences and creating promotional materials.

    Reporting & Performance Tracking:

    • Monitor and report on business development activities, pipeline, and KPIs to senior leadership.
    • Track sales performance, lead conversion rates, and overall business growth.

    Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
    • Experience: Minimum of 5-10years in business development, sales, or a related field; experience in [industry-specific] preferred.

    Skills:

    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proven track record of closing new business and achieving sales targets.
    • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
