As the Business Development Lead for the Cosmetics Channel, you will be responsible for driving the growth and development of our beauty care line across Nigeria. This role requires a blend of strong sales acumen, relationship-building, and the ability to use digital platforms to promote brand visibility and awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Spearheaded the growth and expansion of the beauty care channel for Hello Products Limited.
Achieve channel revenue and value targets through strategic sales initiatives.
Leverage a strong online presence and digital network to engage potential customers, share product experiences, and drive brand awareness.
Actively convert leads into loyal clients by providing exceptional customer service, product insights, and personalized recommendations.
Build and nurture relationships with key customers, including spas, salons, barber shops, HORECA outlets, and cosmetic retail stores across Nigeria.
Represent the brand at major beauty and fashion events, product launches, and pop-up shops to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
Ensure all marketing and promotional activities align with the company’s values and branding guidelines.
Lead negotiations and business initiatives for the beauty category.
Drive and contribute to projects aimed at revenue growth, including lead generation, website development, content creation, and sales materials.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in a related field (Social Sciences, Management Sciences, or similar).
A minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the FMCG industry is preferred.
Proven experience in sales within the cosmetics or beauty industry is essential.
Strong digital presence with an extensive social media network to engage and influence potential clients.
Ability to establish and sustain relationships with a wide range of customers and partners.
Self-driven, independent, and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Passionate about beauty and cosmetics, with a deep understanding of industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Residing in Lagos, with preference given to candidates familiar with the local market, particularly on the Island.
Female candidates are preferred for gender balance.
Previous experience as a brand ambassador, sales representative, or similar role within the beauty sector is an advantage.
An established personal brand or influencer presence in Lagos is a plus, with the potential to leverage this for brand promotion.
