    Business Development Intern

    Job Description

    As a business development intern, your job duties may include identifying and contacting prospective customers or partner companies, promoting the business online and via word-of-mouth, and creating client proposals and contracts. 

    The responsibilities include:

    • Analysing the trends in the market and the company's strategies to identify opportunities to cash in on.
    • Identifying, researching and evaluating new customers
    • Supporting the creation and presentation of new ideas to add value to the company's service and increase sales and revenue
    • Performing an extensive analysis of the market
    • Assisting with the preparation of sales and marketing plans 
    • Creating customer feedback channels to use in improving the service delivery.

    Requirements

    • The ideal candidate has 

    • A good first degree from a recognisied insitution plus 2 years of work experience.
    • Excellent communications and presentation skills
    • Fluent written and verbal communication
    • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
    • Results-driven focus with analytical capability
    • Ability to innovate and simplify current processes and practices
    •  Strong direct sales skills and a proven track record of performance
    • Experience working with clients
