    Business Development Executive (Roadshows and Activations)

    Position Overview:

    • The Business Development Executive (Roadshows and Activations) will be responsible for identifying and securing business opportunities through roadshows and activation events. This role requires expertise in creating visually appealing presentations, including decks using Canva, and facilitating client engagements through roadshow events. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, creative, and highly organized with the ability to drive brand visibility and strengthen client relationships.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree 3+ years in sales industry
    • Experience in full sales cycle including deal closing Demonstrated sales success
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
    • CRM experience is preferred

    Key Responsibilities:

    Roadshow & Activation Planning

    • Develop strategies and execution plans for roadshows and activation events.
    • Research target audiences, market trends, and industry developments to ensure optimal engagement during roadshows.
    • Plan and coordinate logistics for events, including location scouting, vendor management, and event staffing.
    • Work closely with internal teams to design, plan, and execute events that align with business objectives.

    Business Development & Lead Generation

    • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through face-to-face interactions during roadshows and activations.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and potential leads.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to convert leads generated at events into business deals.
    • Gather feedback and insights from event attendees to further enhance business development strategies.

    Presentation and Deck Creation

    • Design visually appealing business presentations and decks using Canva.
    • Customize presentations for specific client needs or event requirements, incorporating company branding, creative elements, and key data.
    • Deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders, showcasing product offerings, brand value, and business solutions.

    Branding and Marketing

    • Assist in the creation of marketing collateral for roadshows, activations, and brand events.
    • Ensure that all marketing materials are in line with the company’s branding guidelines and messaging.
    • Support digital and offline marketing efforts to increase awareness of upcoming events.

    Reporting and Analysis

    • Track the effectiveness of roadshows and activations, analyzing ROI and event success through KPIs.
    • Provide regular feedback and reports to senior management regarding event performance, customer engagement, and sales conversion.
    • Maintain a detailed database of leads, contacts, and follow-up actions.

    Key Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in business development, event planning, or brand activations.
    • Proficiency in design tools like Canva, PowerPoint, and other creative software for making presentations and decks.
    • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior analysis.
    • Ability to travel and work outside of office hours, as roadshows may take place in various locations.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    Lead Generation & Conversion

    • Number of qualified leads generated during roadshows/activations.
    • Percentage conversion of leads into actual sales/business opportunities.
    • Follow-up response rate from leads post-event.

    Event Attendance & Engagement

    • Attendance rate at roadshows and activations (target vs. actual).
    • Audience engagement during events (measured by surveys, interactions, or post-event feedback).
    • Quality and relevance of interactions (client feedback, interest shown, etc.).

    Presentation Effectiveness

    • Number of presentations delivered and their conversion to business.
    • Feedback score from clients and stakeholders after presentations.
    • Visual design quality and creativity of presentation decks (can be rated internally or by clients).

    Client Relationship Development

    • Number of new client relationships initiated and nurtured.
    • Satisfaction levels of clients and partners post-event (measured via surveys or follow-up conversations).
    • Repeat business or referrals generated from activated relationships.

    Event ROI

    • Cost efficiency of event execution (budget vs. actual spending).
    • Return on Investment (ROI) for each roadshow/activation (measured through sales, brand awareness, or lead generation).
    • Number of successful business deals closed following an event.

    Brand Awareness

    • Increase in social media mentions, event-related hashtags, or campaign visibility.
    • Media coverage or press mentions resulting from the activation.
    • Growth in brand recognition post-roadshows, based on surveys or client feedback.

    Internal Collaboration & Reporting

    • Timely submission of event reports and post-event analysis.
    • Alignment with other departments (marketing, sales, operations) for smooth event execution.
    • Quality of feedback and actionable insights shared with management post-event.
