• We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving successful project outcomes by bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions.
• The ideal candidate will work closely with various stakeholders, and cross functional teams. Our approach at JE is very client-focused so you need to possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of business processes.
• This position is FULLY ONSITE in our Abuja office servicing international clients in financial services/ insurance/reinsurance / Lloyds Market.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the needs of users and priorities of local teams
• Leading delivery on a range of projects, including process review, software implementation, data migration and reconciliation
• Defining and managing prioritised product backlogs, defining user stories, and managing new features, enhancements and bug fixes
• Input into GUI design, to ensure an excellent and intuitive user experience
• Producing and managing functional documentation, wireframes and acceptance criteria
• Testing and acceptance of new features (or coordinating with external testing consultants
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders
• Solid understanding of business processes and systems and user-centred design concepts.
• Experience working with data, such as data migration and reconciliation
• Proficiency in using business analysis tools and techniques.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
• Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.
