Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise building projects from planning to execution
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants
• Review project designs and technical specifications
• Provide on-site technical support and inspections
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
• Perform regular inspections to identify and resolve potential issues.
• Assist in developing and executing preventive maintenance strategies.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and system performance.
• Must be able to start a renovation work immediately.

Qualifications & Skills

• BSc/HND in Building Technology or a related field
• Professional certification such as CEFP or PMP an added advantage
• Experience in managing large-scale building projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
• Ability to respond to emergencies
• Minimum of 5 years experience in building engineering
• Proficient in using hand and power tools
• Good understanding of safety protocols and regulations
• Solid understanding of construction laws and regulations
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and work in various conditions
• Valid driver’s license
