Job Description

• We are in need of a Builder who is responsible for the completion of construction projects by planning, organizing, and controlling projects; completing quality inspections; supervising sub-contractors and staff.

Job Duties

• Coordination of and supervision of workers.
• Provide schedules for workers.
• Assign tasks to construction labourers.
• Liaise with contractors, managers and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties remain coordinated.
• Translate blueprints into plans.
• Organizing the equipment and manpower necessary to complete the project.
• Responsible for maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Keeping detailed records of construction site activities.
• Carrying out tasks assigned by your supervisor.
• Communicate any change/instructions on the project/task to the PM within 2hrs.
• Report to the assigned site at least two Saturdays in any given month when onsite
• Execution of architectural and structural drawings on a construction site.
• Attend to other tasks as assigned by your superior.

Qualifications and Background

• Academic qualification - HND only in Building Technology.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Building and Construction.
• On-site construction planning and management
• Excellent Time management skills
• Proven ability to work with little supervision and collaboratively
• Solid organizational skills including attention to details
• Excellent oral, and written communication skills and presentation skills
• A good understanding of HSE duties.
