Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boiler Operator to join our team. The Boiler Operator will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining boiler equipment to ensure efficient and continuous operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of boiler systems, safety procedures, and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain high-pressure steam boilers and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor boiler operations, including water levels, pressure, fuel consumption, and temperature.
•  Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on boiler equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with regulations.
•  Conduct regular testing and analysis of boiler water and steam to maintain water quality and prevent corrosion or scaling.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and safety inspections.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a boiler operator or similar role in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of boiler systems, including steam generation, combustion, and controls.
•  Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a demanding environment with exposure to high temperatures and confined spaces.
•  Effective communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
•  Willingness to adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Boiler Operator License or Certification.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance software or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Prior experience in a manufacturing, power generation, or utility plant environment.
