Bakery Supervisor - Ado Ekiti at Outsource Company

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Food technologist to ensure that raw materials, recipes and ingredients of good quality are gotten.
• Carry out and monitors tasks on bread and baked goods production 
• Efficiently carry out stock, inventory and product calculations
• Follow and enforce HACCP, safety, hygiene and maintenance guidelines in the bakery
• Monitor and execute sales promotion tasks
• Ensure effective teamwork and leadership of the bakery team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT

• Food management, food science or any food related course
• Good experience working in the food production or food retail industry, especially in the bakery department.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• knowledge of how to prepare baked goods (bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, etc.)
• able to prepare baked goods in large quantities
• knowledge of relevant food safety legislations and HACCP rules
• good understanding of the meaning of food quality and freshness
• have high standards of cleanliness and the ability to adhere to strict hygiene rules
• excellent attention to detail
• adept at finding best practices for production
• strong interpersonal and commercial skills
• understands (local) customer tastes, behaviors and the effect on sales
• energy, drive and a strong can-do attitude (getting-it-done mentality)
• a desire for continuous food improvement and professional development.
