Job Description

Requirements

• Provide high-quality vocal harmonies and background vocals to complement lead vocalists in gospel music recordings.
• Attend scheduled rehearsals and vocal training sessions to ensure tight harmony and blend with other vocalists.
• Participate in studio recording sessions, following direction from the music director or producer to achieve the desired sound.
• Support live performances or concerts, if required, by providing background vocals.
• Adjust vocal delivery to match the style, tone, and emotional expression of various gospel music genres.
• Work closely with other vocalists, musicians, and producers to create a cohesive and impactful musical experience.
• Continuously improve vocal skills and stay updated with current gospel music trends.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a background vocalist, preferably in gospel music.
• Strong vocal ability with a versatile range suitable for harmonizing in gospel music.
• Basic understanding of music theory and the ability to read sheet music or follow chord charts is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from producers and music directors.
• Availability to commit to rehearsals, recording sessions, and potential live performances as required by the contract.
• A strong alignment with Christian values and the message of the gospel.
