Backend Engineer at Loger Solutions Limited

The Role

• We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to help design, build, and scale the core backend services that power the Loger platform.
• You’ll work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality APIs and backend systems that are secure, performant, and maintainable. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, problem-solving, and working in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs that power web and mobile applications
• Architect and manage databases using MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate APIs seamlessly
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues
• Contribute to technical decisions, architecture discussions, and code reviews
• Ensure security best practices and data protection standards are followed

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer
• Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS
• Profi ciency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, APIs, and system design
• Experience setting up and working with CI/CD deployment pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Render, AWS is a plus)
• Strong understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
