    B2B Marketing Communications Manager

    Job Description

    • CrossBoundary Energy is looking for an experienced B2B Marketing Communications Manager who will be responsible for growth across CrossBoundary Energy’s marketing and communication channels. The Marketing Communications Manager will work closely with renewable energy experts to understand CrossBoundary Energy’s commercial offerings and build awareness of our products, generate customer demand, and strengthen our business development and investment pipeline.
    • As CrossBoundary Energy’s Marketing Communications Manager, you will be responsible for creating campaigns across all B2B channels including social, events, thought leadership and content marketing, and related digital channels, while ensuring media deliverables are on time and on budget. The ideal candidate will be able to work cross-functionally and distill CrossBoundary Energy’s value proposition into compelling marketing collateral, such as multimedia, white papers, one-pagers, and brochures.
    • The Marketing Communications Manager will be a member of CrossBoundary Group’s Communications team and report to the Global Head of Communications. The Marketing Communications Manager will work closely day-to-day with CrossBoundary Energy’s Operations team, as well as its Business Development team.

    Required Qualifications

    • 3+ years in B2B marketing, digital marketing or demand generation role, ideally in power, infrastructure, or industrial commercial sector
    • Experience with B2B brand planning, strategic planning and execution, across a variety of categories and communication tactics
    • Advanced analytics and reporting experience required, including thorough knowledge of Google Analytics, Excel, Power BI, SQL, and/or similar
    • Experience managing an email marketing program required. Advanced proficiency with email marketing platforms, social media, QA, and HTML/CSS, preferred
    • Strong experience creating and developing partnerships with internal team members towards delivery of impactful results
    • A broad understanding of the connection between business objectives, creative content production, and media placement
    • A broad understanding of awareness measurement practices and awareness campaigns
    • Experience using marketing automation software a plus

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Generate high quality content across CrossBoundary Energy’s website, paid and organic search, paid social, programmatic display, field marketing, event sponsorships and/or sponsored publisher channels
    • Scope and manage innovative growth strategies in collaboration with our energy Business Development team designed to drive qualified leads and communicate impact
    • Test strategies that promote and increase engagement on various media and deliver ROI
    • Grow our email list including drafting and coding emails, creating targeted distribution groups, creating landing pages, reporting on metrics, and executing campaigns
    • Manage budgets and project plans to ensure campaigns launch on due date and meet their objectives. Work closely with external agencies and vendors to ensure execution of campaigns
    • Develop creative collateral, content, and web experiences that follow media best practices
    • Work with BizOps team to establish measurement framework for marketing campaigns that map to business goals
    • Provide campaign support to other parts of the organization (business development, investment teams, etc.) as needed
    • Monitor market trends and competitors to determine marketing opportunities
    • Recommend and take actions to improve visibility
