    Auto Technicians

    Location: Wawa, Ogun

    Overview:

    • An experienced person who would be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company's Trucks / Vehicle to ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability.
    • The role involves handling mechanical and electrical faults in line with manufacturer and company standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
    • Diagnose problems using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
    • Perform routine vehicle servicing and preventive maintenance
    • Repair or replace defective parts such as engines, brakes, suspension, and transmission systems
    • Carry out wheel alignment, balancing, and brake servicing
    • Ensure vehicles meet safety and roadworthiness standards
    • Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure issues are resolved
    • Maintain accurate service and repair records
    • Follow safety procedures and workshop best practices
    • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and well maintained
    • Provide technical advice and recommendations to supervisors or customers

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Minimum of OND, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent in Automobile Engineering or a related field
    • Proven experience as an Auto Technician or Mechanic
    • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (petrol and diesel engines)
    • Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand tools
    • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
    • Physical stamina and attention to detail
