    Assistant Registrar

    Institution Type: Polytechnic

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic administrator to fill the position of Assistant Registrar. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Deputy Registrar and Registry Department, assisting with student affairs, and performing other duties as assigned.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Provide administrative support to the Deputy Registrar and Registry Department
    2. Assist with student affairs, including admissions, records, and examinations
    3. Support academic departments with administrative tasks and projects
    4. Coordinate and manage the activities of the registry department
    5. Ensure the efficient and effective management of the polytechnic\'s records and documents

    Requirements:

    1. Minimum First degree from a recognized institution a post graduate degree is an added advantage.
    2. NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption
    3. Credits in five subjects, including English and Mathematics at SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O/L
    4. At least 5-10 years of relevant post-NYSC experience in an administrative or academic institution, with experience in registry, academic, or student affairs. With 3 years in a Experience in a supervisory role, and the ability to manage and motivate staff. in a polytechnic or similar institution.
    5. Membership in a relevant professional body, such as NIM, NIPM, CIPM, or ANUPAetc
    6. Strong administrative and organizational skills
    7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    8. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
    9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    10. Proficiency in ICT tools and platforms
