Job Description

• You will be required to focus on computing and recording day-to-day financial calculations, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, preparing taxes and checking financial records for errors.
• You are required to think analytically and mathematically, stay Responsible for analysing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Organized, communicate clearly and have an attention to detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing accounts and tax returns
• Monitoring spending and budgets and Preparing budget forecasts
• Auditing and analysing financial performance
• Financial forecasting and risk analysis
• Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits
• Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
• Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
• Keeping account books and systems up to date.
• Publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND / Master's Degree with 4 - 6 years work experience.
