    Assistant Activation Manager

    Purpose of Job

    • Executes all product activation plans approved, supervises those given to agencies, reporting on effectiveness and doing postmortem on each activation event to deliver brand alignment for all activations being embarked upon by the Prime SBU.

    Principal Accountabilities

    • Independently plan and activate small brand related events like private parties, weddings, burial ceremonies and so on ensuring Industry standards are maintained in all events execution in accordance with communicated briefs, the event objectives and goals of activation.
    • Professionally support and report dutifully (POS/TS) on all activation events using agreed Industry metrics, and strictly within communicated guidelines to ensure effectiveness, timeliness and efficacy in brand communication.
    • Identify, plan support and execute own activation events like road shows, trade fairs and other large activation events to sustain and grow the brand marketing efforts at GOL and to maintain consumer interest and eventually market share of the assigned brands
    • Deliver aligned merchandising of optimum visibility at every, and any relevant touch point as it refers to assigned events in compliance with company policies and to further promote the GOL brands.
    • Offer necessary support (e.g., training) to third party staff and others on cocktail mixology, handling and presentation with brand ambassadors with existing brand guides to enhance brand awareness, patronage and participation.

    Job Requirements
    Education:

    • Minimum requirement: Minimum B.Sc./HND in sales/marketing or any discipline.
    • Added advantage: Post graduate or MBA

    Experience:

    • Minimum requirement: Minimum 2-3 years cognate experience
    • Added Advantage: Self management and independent experience

    • Writing and presentation skills
    • Consumer insight and management skills
    • Energetic and goal getter with local language skills
    • MS suite proficiency.
