Assistant Accounts Officer
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification BA/BSc/HND
- Experience 1 - 2 years
- Location Lagos
- City Surulere
- Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit
- Salary Range ₦200,000 - ₦300,000/month
Job Description
- Processing of School bills after audit check.
- Assisting with bank errands.
- Data entry and reconciliation both offline and online.
- Filing of documents.
- Assisting to administer petty cash when the accountant is not around.
- Assisting with audit and fact checking.
- Assisting with the management of school fee payments and reconciliations.
- Provide support to the accounts department.
- Processing of various payments for the foundation.
- Posting of data on QuickBooks software.
- Assisting with payroll processing.
- Any other assigned duties
Requirements and skills
- HND/BSc in relevant accounting discipline and a minimum of 1 year post NYSC experience
- Good knowledge of statutory tax remittances
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Excel, databases, accounts reconciliation and accounting software like QuickBooks
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
