    Area Sales Manager (B2C)

    Job Brief

    • As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing sales teams, and achieving sales targets within your assigned territory. 
    • Your role involves building relationships with customers, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring the effective execution of sales plans.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives within the assigned territory.
    • Identify market opportunities, potential customers, and key accounts for sales expansion.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, including retailers, distributors, and partners.
    • Lead, coach, and mentor sales teams to maximize their performance and productivity.
    • Set sales targets, quotas, and goals for individual team members and monitor their progress.
    • Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions for sales staff.
    • Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies, campaigns, and sales collateral.
    • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to promote products and services.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers to maximize sales opportunities and profitability.
    • Ensure compliance with sales policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Provide feedback to senior management on market conditions, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
    • Monitor inventory levels, sales forecasts, and product demand to optimize inventory management.
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
    • Stay informed about industry developments, product innovations, and emerging market trends.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
    • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a similar industry or market segment.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams.
    • Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
    • Results-driven with a track record of achieving sales targets and goals.
    • Knowledge of sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and customer relationship management.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
    • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
    • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
