Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Architect to join our design team. The Architect will be responsible for conceiving, developing, and delivering innovative architectural designs for a range of projects. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and project managers to turn concepts into functional and aesthetically pleasing structures.

Responsibilities:

Conceptualization and Design:

• Create architectural designs and concepts that meet the functional and aesthetic requirements of each project.
• Develop initial sketches, renderings, and models to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Incorporate sustainable and environmentally responsible design principles into projects.

Client Collaboration:

• Work closely with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Present design proposals and adapt them based on client feedback and requirements.

Project Management:

• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and budgeting, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to coordinate design and construction efforts.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure that all architectural designs meet local building codes and regulations.
• Prepare and submit necessary documents for permitting and regulatory approvals.

Construction Oversight:

• Provide on-site supervision and guidance during construction to ensure designs are executed as intended.
• Address any design-related issues that may arise during the construction phase.

Technical Documentation:

• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate and organized project records.

Materials and Technology:

• Stay up-to-date with new materials, building technologies, and construction methods.
• Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve project efficiency and sustainability.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate with interior designers, landscape architects, and other professionals to create cohesive and integrated design solutions.

Presentation Skills:

• Present design concepts to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders effectively, using various media and presentation tools.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that design quality and standards are consistently met across all projects.
• Review and approve project deliverables for accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• State licensure as a registered architect is required.
• Proven experience as an architect, with a portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp), and other relevant design tools.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification is a plus.
