Analyst - Pricing, Enterprise Business Unit at MTN Nigeria

Mission:

To provide professional in-life product management and value pricing inputs to the creation and maintenance of the Enterprise Solutions sales strategy and plan that will deliver shareholder value.

Description:

• Perform financial assessments, profitability analyses, and pricing analyses pertaining to products and service offerings.
• Provide professional input and advice in developing an enterprise sales pricing strategy and plan.
• Use market analysis data, customer satisfaction data, and internal service costing data to develop and manage value-based pricing and pricing strategies across the full range of Enterprise Solutions products, working with product managers, product development managers, and finance managers.
• Business case development: evaluate the impact of various management proposals and provide supporting data and information for decision support.
• Incorporate business rules into financial models to enable the effective evaluation of the product.
• Prepare pricing and proposition documents for management approval as per the agreed process design.
• Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market events, capture, store, and track product and service pricing information, and provide insight and data to support management decision-making.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to the MTNN tariff strategy, and ensure all documented and implemented rates are approved by the Business.
• Participate in the entire project lifecycle, from new product evaluation and product implementation to ongoing product evaluation.

Education:

• First degree in any related discipline
• Fluent in English

Experience:

• 3–7 years’ experience in an area of specialization, with experience in supervising others
• Financial Management or Product Evaluation experience
• Experience in Financial Modeling
• Excellent analytical skills with experience using Microsoft Excel, SQL, etc.
• Experience in product management and value pricing is desirable.
• Experience in Project administration and coordination, preferably in a telecom environment
