    Airline Ticketing and Reservation Supervisor

    Job Objectives: Work with a variety of clients, from individual travellers to large corporations and organizations. Provide the best possible service while also ensuring that the company meets its financial goals.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Scheduling flights based on customer needs and available flights, including checking weather conditions and making changes as needed
    • Sell domestic and international tickets to both individual traveller and corporate organisations
    • Bring in corporate clients and sell flights, hotels, visas, insurance and other travel services
    • Communicating with customers to answer questions about tickets, pricing, or flight schedules
    • Developing pricing strategies, balancing firm objectives, customer satisfaction and Generating strategies to help the organization, and maintaining now and future profitability continually.
    • Meeting financial goals and supporting the executive directors and administration team in the improvement of the company.
    • Guiding Customers to make payment for airline tickets, directly into the company’s account
    • Entering customer information into a computer system to issue tickets or update records
    • Processing electronic ticketing requests for customers over the phone
    • Processing refunds for lost or damaged tickets or reservation errors
    • Explaining applicable fees and taxes for each ticket
    • Manage Sales with due regards to the set targets
    • Ability to handle high volume of customer interaction while delivering exceptional service
    • Assist in the resolution of all customer complaints
    • Basic sales skills to close and convert booking opportunities
    • Ensure tickets are booked or amended appropriately to avoid any liability being incurred by ACE Skyline
    • Prepare and submit all reports in accordance with the required schedule
    • Update professional skill to always ensure competence

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of first degree/HND in Hospitality, Tourism or Valid GDS system certificate
    • Relevant professional certifications.
    • Minimum of 3 years work experience in relevant field
    • A recognized IATA or Airline Advanced Course
    • Experience of working in a fast-paced customer service environment
    • Experienced in the use of Amadeus and one more GDS (SABRE or GALLILEO)
