Job Summary

The Agric. Officer (Agric. Operation Farms/Estates) will assist Farm Manager to implement the programme of all the activities of the section at the appropriate time.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• General Supervision and management of a distinct area (600Ha) of the estate to ensure efficient utilization of laborers, materials and equipment’s.
• Assist Farm manager to implement the programme of all the activities of the section at the appropriate time.
• Liaise with senior headman and other supervisory staff to ensure that all field operations are executed to the required standards.
• Maintenance of accurate records of field operations within the section.
• To carry out any other duty as may be directed by the Farm manager.

Educational Qualification and Work Experience

• Shall hold the minimum of Degree (B.Sc.) or Higher National Diploma in any Agricultural related courses
• Any relevant profession certificate.
• Minimum 7 Years working experience in Sugarcane growing.
