The ideal candidate will conduct technical operations on both simple and complex systems and perform advanced mechanical, electrical or diagnostic tests. They may work independently or as part of a team to diagnose, assess, repair, or maintain company products, in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs) or specific requests. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise the respective team of direct and indirect reports through contributing to effective recruitment, development, performance management, and succession planning.
Maximize team performance and achieve sectional objectives.
Ensure on-target achievement of team business objectives and staff performance objectives.
Contribute to the management of the section’s daily operations by holding meetings with the team.
Provide expertise, enable teamwork, align processes, and ensure adherence to the service manual.
Achieve high performance standards and meet established targets through transfer of knowledge and collaborative teamwork.
Follow up on cases assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor by attending to major breakdowns and fault finding to resolve issues.
Schedule random site inspections to check the quality of work done by the maintenance teams.
Enhance the quality of maintenance work through quality improvement, fault finding, and problem solving.
Ensure timely and proper delivery of maintenance contracts, renewal letters, invoices, and other documents to customers.
Submit documents by hand, collect payments, and signed documents to preserve the rights of both parties and minimize open dues.
Receive spare parts and accessories, verify them as per the request form for the daily schedule.
Return unused items to the warehouse for better inventory control on items used in maintenance.
Preserve and clean delivered equipment and maintenance cars in custody.
Directly report their loss or damage by completing necessary forms to ensure no error occurs.
Listen to customers' inquiries, considering their needs, suggestions, or complaints.
Transfer these notes to the Maintenance Unit Supervisor (MUS) for the best response and processing.
Qualifications
University or Technical degree in Mechanics or Electrical Engineering (BSC, HND, OND, etc.).
Operational Experience
7 to 10 years of experience in a similar industry.
At least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Professional Qualifications; Certifications such as NSE, COREN, etc will be a plus
