    Administrative Manager

    Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities: 

    • Responsible for scheduling routine maintenance for non–core machinery. 
    • Assists in construction and renovation projects to improve efficiency, ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations. 
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of general office furnishings.
    • Manage the Lunch Ticket scheme to ensure proper records are kept for the Finance department. 
    • Prompt payment of telephone bills for the Managing Director, prompt payment of staff airtime. the BlackBerry bill 
    • Local procurement of all production consumables like stationery, toners, and administrative stationeries e.g. chairs, tables, etc. 
    • Maintenance of office and compound; ensuring the office premises are kept tidy. 
    • Ensuring the cleaner reports for duty on time and the building and surrounding area are kept clean and tidy. 
    • Plan, organize, and provide effective leadership and control to all administrative functions. 
    • Follow up on insurance claims to ensure payments are made and all policy payments are made. 
    • Fleet Management: ensure the proper allocation of cars and ensure that they are always in good operational condition.
    • Driver Management: The management of all the drivers in the organization according to the laid down policies and procedures. 
    • Arrange competent contractors for the servicing of all equipment (air conditioners, printers, generators, diesel supply, compressor e.t.c.) and ensure that they are paid accordingly. 
    • Administrative support to other departments and managers. 
    • Management of the guesthouse including prompt payments of staff and dealing with the landlord on any issues. 
    • Supervisory 
    • Set goals and deadlines for the department.
    • Manage the many fields of work which the employees carry out. 

    Educational & Professional Requirements 

    • B.SC in the Social Sciences. An MBA will be an added advantage 
    • Relevant professional qualification is an advantage 
    • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
