Prepare monthly provisions for minimum tax and additional PAYE.
Ensure compliance with VAT, WHT, PAYE, Pension and NSITF.
Review calculations, prepare payment schedules and instructions as necessary, file monthly returns on the FIRS portal and obtain payment evidence from the bank.
Provide pension deduction schedules to all Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs)
Respond to official tax notices requesting information and clarifications.
Negotiate fee with external consultants regarding tax and audit issues.
Ensure the resolution of all pending audits.
Obtain employees’ annual TCC
Liase with tax consultants and government officials on various issues certificate on QCE, Export grant, transfer pricing
Perform other responsibilities assigned.
Competence & Skills Required
Degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
Strong background in VAT, WHT, PAYE, Pension, NSITF and CIT.
Ability to analyze business transactions and their tax implications with a deep understanding of complex tax laws.
Stay informed about new and evolving tax policies.
