Accountant at Rich-Rotoye Consulting (Olaniyi Titiloye & Co)

Our Client in the Construction industry is seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to prepare financial statements up to the Balance Sheet. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all monetary transactions and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the company. The Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, analysing financial data, and providing valuable insights to enhance business performance.

Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, billing, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and support decision-making processes
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits
• Provide financial reports and insights to management in a clear and concise manner
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting practices

Qualifications and Experience:

• HND or BSc. in Accounting (A part qualification in ICAN is an advantage)
• Proven work experience of a minimum of 5 years as an Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Location:

• Preference will be given to candidates with residency around Lekki, Ajah, Jakande Ikate and its environs

Salary:

• The salary for this position is negotiable depending on the candidate\'s qualifications and experience.
