Job Description

• Our client is seeking to employ a young, dynamic Accountant to join their growing team. The potential client must be enthused about contributing to organizational growth and must be abreast of best practices in Accounting locally and internationally.

Duties

• Raise and process estimates and invoices.
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain stock ledgers.
• Prepare balance sheets.
• Update internal systems with financial data.
• Reconcile bank statements.
• Assist with budget preparation.
• Credit Control & Management.
• Monitor and manage inventory.
• Extracting the monthly trial balance, compute PAYE, VAT taxes and render returns.
• Prepare monthly payroll.
• Prepare monthly income statement (Profit & loss account).
• Review and implement financial policies.
• Management of filing system.
• Participate in financial audits.
• Preparing financial statements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions.
• Submit weekly report to management.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite especially in Excel.
• Higher educational qualification/Professional certification in Accounting (ACA, ACCA, ICAN) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting, finance, inventory management or other related fields.
• Good knowledge and understanding of accounting best practices.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills.

Salary
N80,000 - N120,000 monthly
