Job Summary

• We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our company.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
• The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of cost accounting, and the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and record all daily accounting transactions including sales, purchases, inventory, and expenses.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
• Maintain inventory accounting and ensure accurate stock valuation in coordination with warehouse and supply chain teams..
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and banks as required.
• Support internal controls, process improvements, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Generate ad hoc financial reports and analysis for management decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years experience in an accounting role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and taxation.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or industry-specific ERP systems).
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to a dynamic, high-volume environment.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
