Accountant at Alpha Pharma

We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team. The successful candidate will support the preparation of financial reports, bank reconciliations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure adherence to accounting standards.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports regarding all posting into bank ledgers
• Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Carry out trend analysis and comparison on all GL related items for month end closure.
• Assist with internal Audits and Tax preparations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software e.g. SAP, and Quickbooks.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
