• The Accountant will support the Finance team by performing essential daily accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all financial transactions. This role offers a solid foundation for a career in accounting, providing hands-on experience in the core functions of financial record-keeping and reporting.

Key Responsibilities (JD)

• Accurately enter and process daily financial transactions into the general ledger, maintaining detailed records.
• Assist with monthly and quarterly bank and account reconciliation to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Support the processing of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), including verifying invoices and processing payments/receipts.
• Assist senior accountants with the preparation of financial schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal financial controls.
• Prepare necessary documentation and provide support during internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience (internships and academic projects count).
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
• Solid understanding of GAAP, the accounting cycle, and basic financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement).
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy.
